Actually working with the Emotiv EPOC headset a High resolution, multi-channel, portable EEG system. The headset has 14 EEG channels plus 2 references offer optimal positioning for accurate spatial resolution altrought I have the User version (not the research one), so this means that I cannot acces the RAW data.

This fact was solved (with a bit of investigation) by using the EMOKIt library. This project can read the communication between the USB and the OS, decrypt it and show it. All using python (I really love that). I’ll post more as I keep inquiring, but it’s an interesting research area.
